I really don’t know how skinny people do it! I mean I lurveeeee food, So rather than face up to why and how this can be achieved every now and then I go for gold and literally eat and eat and eat. But there is a cut off point, and that is usually when the double chin is just there! That for me is when alarm bells start ringing. Oh and when people as me when i’m due!
So I often wonder when is enough enough, I see some women who are massive but they are swagged out, so I feel it would be wrong to question whether they love themselves. But as a young lad reminded me once, the reason women love handbags and shoes is cause no matter how fat you get, you can still look wonderful.
So do we not have to take responsibilty and accept that loving ourselves is about having a lifestyle that promotes our wellbeing. I mean exercise and healthy eating shouldn’t be for a short period of time, it should be a opportunity to create a lifestyle that promote the well being of the family.
Since my recent battle with good food and bad food my children have also experienced by woes and joys. My children remind me that I must also set the right examples of how to eat, so I make an effort to surround my self with colourful fruits and vegetable. The results have been wonderful, and although it is hard work this change of lifestyle has changed everything about my life.
